I began cooking nutritional meals at home and selling them at the local “Strathcona Farmers Market”, because I felt there was a need for people with dietary restrictions, to grab a bite to eat that was organic vegan, raw and healthy. In 2009, I was invited by Judy Campbell, founder and owner of “Roots on Whyte”, to open “Refresh Organic Bistro”. After two successful years of offering healthy organic food with focus on vegan and raw, and “Roots on Whyte” moving into the new building, I decided to take another path and start a Personal Chef Service due to requests from my customers. Since 2011, I am working as a chef and enjoy the changes I can make in peoples lives by sharing my passion. I believe in creating simple meals with the best seasonal organic products you can find at local farmers markets. I enjoy giving a twist to “favourites” by using healthier ingredients. This shows that even with a restricted diet your favourite dish can still taste delicious. I believe wholeheartedly that seasonal, sustainable organic food is fundamental to good health and natural vitality. Everything is prepared with love and care.
